Leonardo Ciampa, Victorian March

Leonardo Ciampa, Victorian March

This “Victorian March” (Op. 177a) was composed in the English style.  It is dedicated to Peter Planyavsky. It was premiered by the composer at Santa Maria in Augia in Bolzano, Italy, in 2006.

This recording was made using samples of the 1928 E.M. Skinner organ at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Chicago, Illinois, sampled by http://www.milandigitalaudio.com . (As such, it is a virtual recording and does not claim to be an on-site recording of the instrument.) Warmest thanks to Jonathan Orwig of Evensong Music http://evensongmusic.net for this demo.
