Lenten Amethyst (Ametista Quaresimale) (Op. 209) is an organ meditation composed in 2009. The work, which has a distinct French Romantic flavor, incorporates two Lenten themes, “When I Survey the Wondrous Cross” and “Lift High the Cross“.
